The relationship between the Smith family of Ansmil, LLC and The Robert Weiler Company began three generations ago with a variety of real estate appraisal projects. In the 1980s, Ansmil looked to The Robert Weiler Company for consultation on the possible development of more than 300 acres of agricultural land located near I-270 and Hilliard.
During this consulting project, the Smith family was able to utilize the extensive experience and knowledge that The Robert Weiler Company brought to the process. Following the consultation, Ansmil interviewed local real estate development firms and selected The Robert Weiler Company to spearhead the team that would be responsible for taking rural agricultural land through the annexation, development planning, zoning, financing, infrastructure installation, and marketing processes.
