What expertise do you bring to RWC?
As a third-generation family member to get into the appraisal industry, I’ve been immersed in the world of real estate since I was a baby. Some of my earliest memories are driving around with my grandparents and father taking comp pictures and listening to my family, “talk shop” at the dinner table. I really enjoy that this career has led me to work with a broad range of people, from civil engineers to property owners, loan administrators to lawyers. It feels like every assignment is unique and there is always something to be learned as the field and marketplace are constantly evolving I really thrive in the eminent domain space so a lot of my work at RWC is with right-of-way appraisals but I’ve gotten to appraise pretty much all property types for all types of purposes.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
When I’m not working, my husband and I take our three boys to enjoy a ton of outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, and exploring. Where we live in Idaho is not far from Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park, so we live in the perfect place to enjoy nature to its fullest. My boys play sports so I also enjoy attending their hockey and lacrosse games and keep myself entertained by baking, reading, and heading to fun community family events. Also sleeping.
What do you love about Columbus?
There’s always something fun to do no matter what day of the week. Attending OSU basketball games and football games, brunching in the Short North, COSI, the zoo, community festivals that help to engage in all sorts of cultures. My entire family is local to Columbus so it’s my favorite “bubble” to be in until I want to sneak away back to Idaho to enjoy the quiet.
